The Library will be open for limited services beginning Tuesday, June 30, 2020. Please call 401-333-2422, ext. 17 or 22 to reserve a 1 hour time slot to use a computer or a 1/2 hour time slot to browse. Library hours are as follows:
Do I need to wear a mask?
Yes, we want to keep patrons and staff safe.
Can I still request items for contactless pickup?
Yes, you can! The contactless pickup form is still available, at this time you are still limited to 5 items per library card.
Can I look around throughout the library?
No, you are limited to a smaller browsing collection of new and popular items. Staff will be happy to retrieve specific titles from other parts of the library for you to check out. We are limiting checkouts to 10 items per card at this time. No electronic equipment will be available for checkout at this time. Please call the Reference Desk at 333-2422, ext. 22 or 17 to reserve your browsing time.
Can I get a new library card?
Yes, we will be able to issue new cards or renew cards in person by appointment only. Please call the Reference Desk at 333-2422, ext. 22 or 17 to reserve your browsing time. Check out the getting a library card procedure on our website.
Is printing available?
For a limited time only, the Library is offering free black & white printing – for up to 10 pages. If you're planning to print more than 10 pages please come in with exact change as we will not have the funds available to make change for you. Public computers are available for printing use, or click here to send us print requests from your mobile device for pickup (must be picked up same day).
Are computers available?
Yes, We will have a limited number of computers available by appointment only and the computer use will be limited to 1 hour. Please call the Reference Desk at 333-2422, ext. 22 or 17 to reserve your computer time. In order to ensure physical distancing staff will only be able to provide limited computer help.
Is the Library accepting book donations?
No, we are not accepting donations at this time.
Can I return my items to the Library?
Yes, all library materials must be returned in outside bookdrop. Please do not bring materials inside the building.
Is scanning available?
Yes, staff will scan up to 10 pages for you.
Are faxing or notary services available?
At this time faxing and notary services are not available.
Is the Program Room open?
Not at this time.
