A Zombie Pandemic will let loose at Lincoln Public Library on Monday, October 27 from 5:30-7:00 PM. Zombie makeup, tattoos, Pin the Pancreas on the Zombie plus other games if time allows, and food, of course, will be featured. A graphic story from the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) will be displayed for your reading pleasure. Appropriate for ages 12-18. Please register at Reference or call 333-2422, x17.
DIY Canvas Art
Teens, join us on Election Day November 4 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Lincoln Public Library for an artistic afternoon. We will create a painting on canvas to decorate your wall or other space. Appropriate for ages 12-18. Limited to 10 students. All materials supplied by the Friends of the Library. Please register at Reference or call 333-2422, ext. 17.
Teens' Top Ten
Vote now! Voting is now open for Teens' Top Ten! All teens are eligible to vote for their favorite titles. Voting will be open through Teen Read Week, which is taking place October 12-18 of this year (2014)! The "top ten" titles will be announced on October 20, 2014, so be sure to check back for the list of winners!
The Teen Anime Group meet on Mondays from 3:30-5:00 PM except for October 13th and the month of December. The club will resume in January. The meetings include movie clips, drawing, and chat. Appropriate for ages 11-14.
The Fall session of Book Buddies at the Lincoln Public Library will begin on Wednesday, September 24th from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The program will run on consecutive Wednesdays through Novemberr 19th, except for November 5th. Each week, Teen Readers aged 11-18 meet with L’il Book Buddies aged 3-8 years. This is a Young Adult/Teen program supervised by the Young Adult Librarian.
