Painted Pots

During spring vacation, teens & preteens ages 11-18 are invited to Lincoln Public Library on Tuesday, April 22 at 1:00 PM to decorate terracotta  pots.  Limited to 10 students.  Please register at Reference or call 333-2422, ext. 17.

 

 

SafeSitter

Safe Sitter

The Lincoln Public Library is offering a Safe Sitter course on Wednesday, April 23 from 9:15 AM-4:15 PM, which includes a lunch break. This one-day program is designed for 11-13 year-olds and is limited to 8 students. Sponsored by the Hasbro Children’s Hospital. The cash-only fee is $45, payable upon registration at the Reference Desk.

 

Mini Croquet Golf

Get your game on! We will be testing your skill with a ball and putter on April 24 th from 1:00-2:00 PM in the Program Room.

Teen Anime Movie

We will be showing an Anime movie on the big screen from 2:00-4:00 PM on April 24th.

 

 

Book Buddiesbook buddies

The Winter/Spring Session of Book Buddies at the Lincoln Public Library will be held on Wednesdays February 5-April 16 from 4-5:00 pm, except for February 19 during school vacation.  Each week Teen Readers aged 11-18 meet with L’il Book Buddies aged 3-8 for one-on-one reading, coloring and floor puzzles.  No more than 2 L’il BBs per Teen Reader. This is a Teen program supervised by the Teen Librarian. As such, this is a great opportunity to fulfill those community service hours. Both groups should register at Reference or call 333-2422 x17. 

 

 

animeAnime Group

The Teen Anime Group at Lincoln Public Library will have regular meetings on Thursdays beginning January 2 at 3-4:30 pm.  No meetings will be held during school vacations plus two blood drives scheduled for March 29 & May 22.  The meetings include movie clips, drawing, and chat.  Appropriate for ages 11-18.  Ask at Reference or call 333-2422, ext. 17.
