College Info Night for Juniors
Lincoln Public Library will present College Information Night for Juniors on Wednesday March 17 @ 6:30 pm. This program is primarily for high school juniors & their parents. A representative from the College Planning Center of Rhode Island will provide the necessary information followed by a Q & A session. Please register at Reference or call 333-2422 x17.
Teen Computer Club
The Lincoln Public Library has started an after-school computer club for teens. Modeled after our summer workshop on Windows Movie Maker, the program is scheduled for alternating Tuesdays from 2-4 pm. Space is limited. Register at Reference or call 333-2422 x17 for more info.

Teen Anime Group
The Teen Anime Group at Lincoln Public Library meets weekly on Thursdays at 3-4:30 pm. Mostly run by the attendees, the meetings include movie clips, drawing, and chat. Ask at Reference or call 333-2422 x17. Visit www.lincolnlibrary.com and check Events.
Book Buddies
The Winter session of Book Buddies at the Lincoln Public Library will begin on Wednesday, February 3rd from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The program will run on consecutive Wednesdays through April 14th, except for February 17th due to Winter Vacation. All programs usually meet in the program room off the lobby. Each week, Teen Readers aged 11-18 meet with L’il Book Buddies aged 3-8 years. One-on-one reading is ideal, but no more than 2 L’il BBs will be assigned to a teen reader. The first 30 minutes are dedicated to reading with coloring and floor puzzles to follow if so desired. This is a Young Adult/Teen program supervised by the Young Adult Librarian. As such, this is a great opportunity to fulfill those community service hours especially needed by high school seniors.
Chess for Teens
Lincoln Public Library invites youth of middle and high school ages to learn and play chess. The sessions will be held on alternating Saturdays starting February 20 from 2-4 pm. A local teenager will be conducting the sessions. Register at Reference or call 333-2422 x17.
